Dieter Rams did some his industrial design work for Braun, and we’ve already declared our love for it. Forgive us for adding another piece to his shrine, but this L11 speaker is worthy of a special mention.
Designed to coordinate with the Rams’ (hard to find) SK record player (dubbed “snow white’s coffin” by audio- and Disney-philes), this speaker is housed in elm wood and painted plastic. This particular speaker has been kept in outstanding cosmetic and working condition, and might actually be underpriced at $US280. At least that’s what we’re telling ourselves. [Bureau of Trade]
