A new consumer-tracking survey by NPD suggests that times are changing: apparently the TV has overtaken all other devices as the go-to device used to watch online video.
According to the survey it’s taken quite the lead: nowadays, so it says, 45 per cent of online video content is viewed through a TV, 17 per cent on a laptop and 14 per cent on a desktop. Curiously, though, tablets only bag 1 per cent — which leads me to think that those figures are a little whack.
So let’s have our own informal survey! How do you watch online video? TV? Tablet? Something else? [NPD via All Things D]
