The craziest thing about Apple switching out Google Maps for something so clearly subpar is that Maps is one of the apps people use the most on a smartphone. I mean other than checking e-mails and using a web browser, what other apps do you absolutely need more than Maps on a smartphone?
I’m not considering core features like phone calls or texting or alarm clock or stock music players, even dumb phones can do that. But I’m not talking straight third party apps either — things like Maps and Web Browsers count. So, I’m wondering what’s your most used apps on your phone? I think my top five would be: Web Browser, E-Mail, Maps, Twitter and Instagram. I would not get a phone unless it could do all that (and do it well, of course).
What about you guys? Facebook? Spotify? More?
