According to Adelaide Now the weapon in question is a Sidewinder — the same ones used by Royal Australian Air Force F/A-18 fighter jets used to defend the country.
Police say the weapon was disarmed and safe when they found it. Well, as safe as a missile can be, I guess.
An investigation has been launched into how the missile came to be in an Adelaide suburb.
