What It’s Really Like To Be A Fly On A Wall

What It’s Really Like To Be A Fly On A Wall

You might look at your kitchen, bedroom, even your bathroom, and only see a messy disaster. But photographer Menno Aden doesn’t. He sees a work of art. Except that it probably helps that he photographs various rooms from the ceiling with a unique top-down perspective.

The results are a series of photos of Berlin-based spaces that end up looking like 2D representations, or architectural models that have been flattened onto the page. Manno has placed his camera in all sorts of places, from dentist offices, to shoe stores, to corner stores filled to the brim with stock. And it usually takes a few moments to figure out exactly what kind of room you’re staring at, and that it’s not just a random array of abstract shapes. [Menno Aden via Dezeen]
