The Queen’s Outfits As A Rainbow Of Pantone Colours

The Queen’s Outfits As A Rainbow Of Pantone Colours

To celebrate Queen Elizabeth II’s 60 years on the throne, Pantone teamed up with design firm Leo Burnett London to make this limited edition Pantone colour guide to Her Majesty’s colourful wardrobe.

Each of the 60 cards in the spiral guide shows Queen Elizabeth in a formal suit that she’s worn in real life, each splashed with a different Pantone colour. The cards tell you the name of the colour, and where and when she was spotted wearing it. The whimsical package is limited to a run of 60 units, and it appears you can’t actually but one. Is it marketing? You bet, but it’s fun too. Who knew Queen Elizabeth wears so much Pantone? [Pantone via The Inspiration Room]
