If buying new kit is currently a little outside your budget, why not just learn how to fold a miniature camera using a note? It might not satisfy your photographic urges in the same way, but at least it will take your mind off being broke.
Won Park has complied a set of instructions so you can learn how to fold one of these things yourself. There’s a PDF guide which depicts the 42 — rather complex — steps. Or, you can watch the three-video tutorial below. Admittedly, this will probably only work with paper bills rather than plastic ones, so if you’ve got a spare dollar bill lying around from your trip to the US, have a go. Good luck!
