There are plenty of Giz readers dreaming of making a fortune by developing apps. Never before has it been so easy to create a technology startup. But once you’ve dived into the world of programming, you’ll inevitably need help. If you’ve taken the plunge, which online communities do you find the most helpful?

Obviously sometimes the best solution is a product-specific forum, like the various forums at MSDN or Apple. At other times, a broader community like Stack Overflow or Whirlpool’s programming forum can be more useful.
