Build Your Own Hovering Lawn Chair For The Perfect Lounger

Build Your Own Hovering Lawn Chair For The Perfect Lounger

Weekends are all about maximising your laziness before you have to return to work. And over on Wired’s Geek Dad blog, Adam Savage, of Mythbusters fame, has an easy to follow tutorial on building a hovering lawn chair so you can be mobile without ever having to actually get up all weekend.

All you need is a cheap piece of plywood, a leaf blower, some duct tape, a few other items you can probably find in your shed and a bit of confidence with your power tools. You can even use something more comfortable than a white plastic lawn chair as the seat, just keep in mind that you’ll want it to be as light as possible.

And once it’s built, as long as you keep a gas can within reach, you’re guaranteed one of the laziest days you’ve ever experienced. (Build one for your BBQ too and your life will never be the same.) [Wired Geek Dads via Neatorama]
