Bust Thieves, Not Your iPhone

Bust Thieves, Not Your iPhone

Apple sells some pricey hardware, everybody knows it. That’s why iOS devices are at the top of muggers’ and robbers’ lists. So what better way to protect your phone than to integrate it into a vicious melee weapon.

The Knucklecase is machined from solid aluminium (“totally recyclable”, boasts the site), works with both the iPhone 4 and the iPhone 4S. Other details about the case are scant, except for this disclaimer:

This product is to be used only as a handle and protective accessory for an iPhone. Any other use of the product is considered a misuse, resulting in the forfeiture of any express or implied warranty of fitness for purpose. By purchasing this product, you agree to hold the Company harmless for any misuse of the product, which results in damage to yourself or third parties.

So if someone used the “handle” holes to hang the phone from a key rack or affixed the “handle” to a chain and wore the phone a la flavour Flav, that would void the warranty? Or just using it as a really awkward weapon. The case is available from the Knucklecase site for $US100. And $US100? Whatever happened to using a roll of nickles? [Knucklecase via Technabob]
