I've only ever been in one WOW store — the one in Coffs Harbour, for those who care — and I can't say I was blown away. If you do live near one a WOW store it may be worth ducking in tomorrow; following the chain being placed into receivership, a closing down sale is due to kick off tomorrow. WOW had fifteen stores; 10 in Queensland, 2 in NSW and one each in Victoria, the ACT and the Northern Territory; The Brisbane Times notes that some 580 jobs will be lost as part of the closure, which may take some time, as it's expected to run until all stock is sold.
