ZTE’s ICS Handsets Appear Before MWC

Mobile World Congress is a full week away, but if you’re a smaller name in the phone market, it would be easy to get lost in all the noise. That’s presumably the logic behind ZTE announcing two new Ice Cream Sandwich handsets right now.

Of the two, the more interesting one for Aussie audiences would be the ZTE PF200, a 4.3 inch QHD screen handset with 8MP camera, 1080p video calling, DLNA compatibility and NFC built in. The second handset, the N910 (which, let’s face it, sounds like a Nokia tablet) is a CDMA/EVDO device.

ZTE doesn’t market itself in Australia under its own branding, but a whole heaped helping of cheap ZTE models are sold with Telstra branding, so it wouldn’t be too surprising to see the PF200 appear at some point as a Telstra budget Android handset [Phandroid]
