Amazing Photos Taken From Street Puddles

I’m either on drugs or these photos were somehow taken from the reflection of puddles in the street. It may be both. But! It’s certainly the latter. Ira Fox, the photographer, created the photo series Reflections by cruising the streets of New York and snapping pics of people who can be seen in reflections off the puddles.

The effect can be gorgeous, an image sprinkled with specs of glistening jewels. It can also be gritty, with the gloomy overcast of the rain clouds darkening and dominating the mood. Either way, it’s an awesomely creative way to capture the street life of a city through an up-close yet faceless take on its people. Check out more pictures here. [Ira Fox via PetaPixel]
