The BlackBerry Playbook is a great little device, let down by RIM's inability to understand what it is that consumers want from a tablet (like web email and app variety). At least RIM does understand enterprise grade smartphones, which makes the Optus deal of a Torch 9860 with bonus Playbook well worth a second look. $0 up front on a $49 cap plan over 24 months is a big commitment, but you do get a lot of gadget for your money.
