Not only can you skip the 3D glasses, but only having to concentrate on an infinitely thin strip of screen is going to make the theatre going experience a lot easier on your eyes. And to be perfectly honest, not only did I find the transforming sequences in this trailer a lot more satisfying than what Michael Bay's team had created, I also think that a single dimension is perfectly suited for the depth of Shia Labeouf's performance in those last three films.
