Looks like Optus has been splashing around the exclusivity cash again, tying up one of Motorola’s upcoming products for an unspecified period of time.
Actually, everything about this invite which just landed in my inbox for an event on the 27th is rather low on specifications. Motorola will unveil something that they claim is “faster. thinner. smarter. stronger” — although they critically don’t say what they’re comparing to, or even what it is. Could it be one of the Xoom 2s? The upgraded Atrix? The Bionic or Droid HD? All I can really ascertain for now is that the presence of an Optus logo so prominently suggests that the other carriers aren’t likely to sell whatever it is.
