Wounded War Dog Healed In Aerial Hospital

War dogs, just like war people, get shot at. And when they’re hit — like this brave fighting pooch, Cujo, they get the exact same state of the art C-17 medical treatment as a human, KitUp’s Glenn Anderson reports.

Cujo caught a bullet in the paw while working alongside some homo sapiens in Afghanistan, and was ushered onto a C-17 floating hospital via the USAF’s Aeromedical Evacuation squad, where Anderson says “he was given the same professional and competent level of care as his human colleagues during his med-evac. He is expected to make a full recovery.” Someone get Cujo some treats, stat. [KitUp!]
