So Rick Perry, current Governor of Texas, packs a gun and blows away coyotes when he goes running. No big deal. But how exactly does a fitness-minded gun enthusiast go about carrying a loaded weapon while jogging? Slate has the answer.
Basically, get a torso-mounted holster — there are a LOT of jogging-specific holster brands out there, and one might be required by law in your state anyway — and bring a reasonably-sized "subcompact" handgun. Larger handguns like the Glock 36, they note, weigh about as much as four water bottles. And for the love of god, don't carry it in a fanny pack. [Slate]
