BlueStacks Puts Android In Your Windows

It’s already the wizard behind the ‘Windows + Android’ curtain in the Viewsonic ViewPad 10 Pro. And soon Bluestacks, a new package that virtualises Android on Windows 7, may be available to anyone who wants to drop it onto their Windows PC. If you’re an eager beaver you can sign up for the Alpha.

In future BlueStacks aims to allow the same virtualisation on other platforms, and potentially even virtualising Windows on top of Android. It’s also running shared resource layers so Android apps can still use media codecs and other drivers from Windows.

If you go and Like their Facebook Page, you can also get yourself on the list to participate in the upcoming Alpha scheduled to commence this Winter.
