Asus is going to be launching its transforming tablet/laptop in Australia in the near future. I know this because they send us an invite to a briefing of the product yesterday afternoon. Included in the invite was this video, a piece of marketing so bad it tarnishes every single thing mentioned within its two minute and 58 second runtime.
Essentially a cheap, British ripoff of the Big Bang Theory sitcom, the video goes past the whole “so bad it’s good” vibe it was probably aiming for and cements itself firmly in the “so bad you want to poke your eyes out with a blunted spork” territory.
That said, I am looking forward to checking out the product. Hopefully it’s only the marketing that Asus has kicked an own goal with.
