Last week in Moscow, this Tupolev TU-154 jetliner was pulled out of storage and given a test flight that was almost its last thanks to some unplanned aerial gymnastics. Ever get seasick watching an airplane?
The TU-154 was the workhorse of Russian airlines until earlier this decade, when they began to reach the end of their useful lives. There’s not much word on what happened to this plane; the problems began early in flight based on other videos, apparently as the oscillations began to build as pilots struggled to keep control. Whomever was flying deserves a pat on the back and a gift card to the nearest men’s undergarment emporium.
