The War On Christmas, Photographed

What better metaphor for the war against Christmas, than a photography series showing baubles filled with synthetic objects, being shot to pieces and caught on camera? Photographer Alan Sailer is doing a fine line in pellet rifle photography, and this bauble series is one of my favourites.

Over the past three years he’s uploaded over 80 magnificent shots, including the one above which shows a bauble filled with paint. Click through the gallery and check out the difference a bit of Play-Doh, jelly or coloured sand makes. [Alan Sailer via PetaPixel]
