Kindle Books Now Beating All Print Versions Combined

Pa-per? What is pa-per? Some sort of cereal? Do you wear it? What—people used to read things off of it?! No. I can’t believe this, because I live in a world in which Kindle copies officially outsell everything.

Amazon had already boasted that Kindle eBooks were outselling paperbacks, but now digital copies are topping all books they sell combined: for every 100 gross old tree copies moved, 105 digitals were downloaded. Good news for trees! We have a feeling this ratio will only become more and more lopsided—but it’s great news that people are reading anything at all. [Amazon]
