Considering I wasn’t the only one who thought yesterday’s “toepener” bathroom door handle was simply one of the greatest inventions ever, perhaps other similarly-OCD people will also like the look of Dave Hakkens’ Break Soap concept.
The thinking behind the concept is that every time you wish to wash your hands, you simply break off a piece of the soap brick, to avoid contaminating the rest of the bar. Of course, it’s not likely as hygienic as a liquid soap dispenser, but I do love this sort of thinking-outside-the-box that we’re seeing a lot more of lately. [Dave Hakkens via Core77]
