iPad 2 On Sale In 25 Countries This Friday, Despite US Shortages

Apple has confirmed today that the iPad 2 will go on sale in 25 countries this Friday, suggesting they’re catching up with their supply shortage.

Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK will be able to buy the iPad 2 on March 25, with the UK pricing starting at £399 for the 16GB Wi-Fi model.

Hong Kong, Korea, Singapore and “additional countries” will see the iPad 2 on sale in April.
