Plantronics Brings Gamecom Headphones To Xbox 360 And PS3

title=The highly regarded GameCom headphones from Plantronics have been available for PC gamers for a while now, but now console gamers will be able to get in on the action, with a new range of console-specific GameCom headphones.

Leading the charge is the X95 wireless headset for the Xbox 360, which offers a closed-ear design, on ear controls for adjusting volume and a concealable microphone. Plantronics claim you’ll get about 20 hours worth of listening time using the included AAA batteries. The X95 will set you back $149.

If corded is more your thing, the GameCom X40 features the same speakers as the X95, and incorporates on-ear controls on the lightweight headset. The X40 costs $99.

PS3 owners don’t get the full stereo headphone treatment from GameCom, although Plantronics have launched a Bluetooth headset for wireless chat during the game, which can also be used for your mobile phone and costs $69.
