The past 15 years or so have been pretty tough on the country’s water supply – constant drought and a booming population has meant that dam capacity has struggled to move upwards. If you want to know just how tough it’s been on our water supply, the Bureau of Meteorology has just released a free iPhone app to track Aussie dam levels.
The app is a free download, and aside from being a rather stark reminder of just how much we rely on limited reserves of water to survive, covers more than 250 sites around the country.
