Six New TomTom Satnavs Hope To Direct You To The Purchase Aisle

title=TomTom has announced their new lineup of satnavs for the christmas season. Who’s excited?

Satnav refreshes aren’t the most glamorous of gadget releases, but the TomTom lineup seems pretty solid, although hardly spectacular. Here’s what you’ll be seeing on store shelves, starting later this month:

Via 160 – Targeted at everyday drivers, the Via range has integrated voice controls and Bluetooth handsfree calling, the Via 160 boasts a 4.3-inch touchscreen, the latest mapping from WhereIs and TomTom’s iQRoutes. It should hit shelves later this month.

Via 180 – the same as the Via 160, but with a five-inch touchscreen. Due November

Go 1000 – The Go range has had an overhaul, introducing multitouch screens and an “easyclick magnetic mount”. The Go 1000 has a 4.3-inch screen and will cost $379, on sale this month.

Go 1050 – Upgrades the Go 1000’s 4.3-inch screen to five inches. $449.

Go 1050 World – The 1050, but with mapping from NZ, Europe and North America straight out of the box. $599.

Start 10 – The entry level satnav from TomTom, the Start 10 has a 3.5-inch touchscreen and a price of $179.
