Will You Be Lining Up On Thursday Night For iPhone 4?

 title=With a simple email to pre-registered customers, Optus has confirmed that it will be launching the iPhone 4 at 12am on Friday morning. So who’s planning on lining up?

Disappointingly, there’s still no pricing announcements yet, although we expect that announcement any day now. Optus is promising to open early at their marquee stores in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth. The email promises “celebrity appearances” and giveaways, as well as the promise that the first 50 customers in the Sydney line will get an “extra surprise”. Even if you are planning on lining up though, you’ll need to register if you hope to walk away with a phone.

What will be interesting to see is whether or not the phone’s antenna situation is putting any buyers off the next generation iPhone here in Australia, or whether we’ll see an even longer queue this year. Tell us in the poll:
