Even though Optus announced they were launching a SpinVox powered voice-to-text voicemail service back in April, the service itself has only just launched today.
The service has a two week free trial for new connections, and current customers can also enjoy a two week trial by texting “ON” to 7746. After that, it’ll cost you $7 a month to have your voicemails automatically converted into text messages. Personally, I’d rather just have visual voicemail for free, but maybe that’s just me…
