This Cannot Be The Future Of Cars!

I’m really hoping that this turns out to be one of those weird concepts you look back on in 50 years time and say “what the f—k were we thinking here?” and then have a good laugh about how wrong we were back then about the future. This is a Toyota creation on show at Mega Web. It’s called Fine X. And to be honest it’s a very versatile car. But how much is versatility worth?

Sure, the whole rotating seat thing is cool. And the fact that the front wheels can become cross-eyed to let the car do really tight turns is great too. But I really don’t want to be driving an oversized refrigerator anytime soon thanks. I guess the gull wing design does give it a few aesthetic/cool points, but when you’re already at -50 what does it matter?

More Lexus ISF, less Fine X please Toyota Motor Company. Thank you (just don’t tell them I can’t actually afford an ISF and maybe they will listen to me).
