Remember how we said Star Wars: The Last Jedi tickets would go on sale this afternoon? Well, it’s after noon, and they’re on sale now.
Our sister site Lifehacker said last night that tickets would go on sale at 12pm, and they were right.
It looks like alongside the new movie trailer dropping imminently, Australia’s major cinemas have switched on their ticketing systems — without actually announcing publicly that they are.
Event Cinemas, Hoyts, Dendy and IMAX Melbourne are already selling tickets.
Here’s links to the six biggest cinema chains or cinemas around the country, where you’ll be able to buy tickets as soon as they go on sale:
Lifehacker also has information on how to get tickets to particular sessions that have already been announced; to see the premiere two screenings at midnight on opening night at IMAX in Melbourne, for example, you’ve got to be a IMAX Big League member.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi, in case you weren’t aware, opens in Australia in the first few seconds of December 14 this year.
