BlackBerry 8900 Available Now On Vodafone For Business Customers

BB8900.JPGThe BlackBerry Curve 8900 is now available in Australia to Vodafone corporate and Business One customers. Regular consumers (who would probably love this phone) will have to wait for a little while.Available for $929 outright or on a range of business plans, the Curve 8900 is the smallest and lightest full qwerty Blackberry ever. The US guys gave their impressions back in January, and from the 24 hours or so that I’ve been playing with it, I pretty much agree with everything they said. If it had 3G, and if RIM’s App World was available in Australia, I reckon I’d be mighty tempted to move away from the iPhone. Or at least carry two devices…

There’s no exclusive deal with Vodafone as such, so you may see it on other carriers soon, although no announcements have been made yet. In the meantime, here’s the Voda announcement for your enjoyment:
