As we said before, Rock Band 3 is ambitious because it's not just a game where you push buttons to music, it's a game that gives you real(ish) instruments and makes you develop actual, usable musical skills.
For years, musicians have mocked those of us holding plastic guitars. Fair enough—but we had fun! But with Rock Band 3, we learn what Harmonix was up to all along: Actually teaching us how to play real instruments.
Mad Catz is going epic with their premium Cyborg line of peripherals. First that mouse, now, possibly, the most badass flight stick the world has seen (outside of an actual jet fighter's cockpit).
These new Eclipse keyboards and mice from Mad Catz are pretty standard fare, except for one key feature - touch sensitivity. The keyboard has a 3-in-1 touchpanel keypad, and the mouse is able to understand finger gestures.
We've seen Nyko's Wand, but now Mad Catz has become the second peripheral manufacturer to clone the Wiimote. And just holding it in my hands, I could tell it has promise.
