I turn 30 this month, and it feels like I am one of the few people my age who watches pay TV and is willing to pay for it. Truth is, I hate watching shows on my computer — or worse, my phone. Give me new episodes in real-time, on a real TV. I know I'm on the wrong side of history, but I also know I'm not the only one.

Can't watch Hulu Plus because of the PSN outage? If you happen to have an Xbox 360 you'll be in luck, according to the June issue of OXM. The service is set to launch April 29 in the US - yeah, this Friday - and Microsoft will be promoting the launch with a contest. Random users will receive prizes, like Hulu Plus subscriptions.
Hulu is a terrific service. Who could argue with free, current episodes of primetime TV on your computer? But for months now, Netflix has been eating Hulu's lunch. And Hulu's plan to fight back sounds more like a swan song.
Peter Kafka hears Hulu might cutting the price of Hulu Plus in half to just $US5 a month. Smart, given that Hulu Plus isn't yet offering that much more than regular old free Hulu and for $US9 a month, Netflix is still a better value (you even get one of those funky silver shiny disc things to go with it).
