In 2007, Gunn had a dream about a corporate office where the employees are forced to kill each other as part of some mysterious experiment. But 10 years ago, the director could have never imagined how the Marvel heroes would affect a bunch of murderous office workers.

One thing all future predictions have in common: they‘re rooted in our current understanding of how the world works. It‘s difficult to escape that mindset. We have no idea how technology will evolve, so our ideas are connected to the technology of today.
