Unnamed sources are telling The Hollywood Reporter that the fight for distribution rights to the James Bond films just got two new contenders: Apple and Amazon. Up until now Warner Bros. have been in the lead with the best bid, but let's be honest. Apple and Amazon have deeper pockets.

Amazon Studios just announced its next slate of television pilots, which will debut sometime in early 2015. Once they're released, feedback will help decide whether Amazon will order them to series, the same as previous pilot rounds.
In 2014, Amazon is planning more original content like Alpha House, Betas, Annebots, Creative Galaxy, and Tumbleleaf. While being in Australia complicates access to these shows, what's interesting is that all of it is going to be shot in 4K. So many pixels (if you have an ultra high-def TV, that is).
