Google’s tricky Motion Sensing radar can now see your hand hovering above your Pixel 4 phone and pause your music on command. It does work – sort of – but it’s still very much in the “party trick” school of mobile phone gimmicks.
Pixel feature drops are part of an ongoing effort to improve Google’s homegrown phones with new upgrades and software over time. The first Pixel feature drop enhanced Google’s Call Screener, memory management, and more, and now Google’s second Pixel feature drop is bringing 12 new tweaks to the Pixel line.
So far, aside from concerns about its face unlock working even when someone’s eyes are closed, the Pixel 4’s launch has been smoother than Google’s previous phones. However, in a recent video, YouTube channel JerryRigEverything may have uncovered a potential issue with the latest Pixel.
