NASA has given an eager public a new date for the Ingenuity helicopter’s first controlled flight on Mars: Monday, April 19. This would be the third time Ingenuity’s flight has been rescheduled to date, and with some luck, it might be the real deal.
That magical spot in Jezero crater where NASA’s Perseverance rover made its historic landing last month has been named “Octavia E. Butler Landing” in honour of the late sci-fi author.
NASA’s Perseverance rover has been on Mars for a full week, and the images are starting to pour in. Here are our favourites so far.
