It’s very fitting, for the sequel to this time-twisting killer loop of a story, that a lot of this news already sounds like something we’ve heard before. But good news nonetheless! The long-wished-for-sequel to Edge of Tomorrow is taking some steps forward after over a year of radio silence.
Video: Impulse, the new YouTube Red show by Edge of Tomorrow director Doug Liman, is about a girl with the ability to teleport. But you wouldn’t guess that from most of the latest trailer, which leans heavily on drama and pain before getting into the science fiction.
It’s been a tumultuous week for DC movie directors. First, Zack Snyder announced he was stepping away from November’s Justice League for family reasons. Today comes news that Doug Liman (Edge of Tomorrow) will not be helming the live-action Justice League Dark movie, Dark Universe.
