The original BoB wireless router from iiNet was a huge success for the ISP, combining the modem, router and home phone into a single, relatively stylish device. Following its announcement in February, the routers sequel BoB2 now has a release date scheduled for this month.
It looks like typical Yanko-concept fare, but Elium Studio’s Icon Phone is an actual working DECT/VoIP model. With a micro colour screen, it’s also a portable radio and alarm clock, but looks ever so sleek and minimal. [Elium via LikeCool]
It looks like iiNet has actually put a little bit of effort into their latest modem/router offering, and we don’t just mean the awesome name ‘BoB’.
