Space: The final frontier – for Nikon, anyway. The camera company’s relationship with NASA has just got steamier, as they’re supplying 11 DS3 D-SLRs and seven AF-S NIKKOR 14-24mm f/2.8G ED lenses for their space photography.
The D3s‘s impact on photography won’t be nearly as dramatic as the D3—the camera that started the low-light arms race—but we got to shoot with it, and really, you’ve never seen nicer low-light images in your life.
Nikon’s holding a buttload of events around the world on October 14, meaning new camera. Specifically, it’s rumoured to be the D3s — a tweaked version of the conveniently out-of-stock D3 with 1080p video recording, along with a new mystery camera.
