I respect what Barnes & Noble is doing with this multi-reader ebook strategy, and I’m glad Samsung’s finally been brought in from the cold, into the warm presence of a real ebook collection, but $US400 for this thing? Really?
For the B&N Nook to be rooted – that is, broken open and readied for software modification – is one thing, but the real reason people are excited about hacking this ereader is obvious: they want apps. And apps they will have.
