The popular Disney+ Drive-In is heading to the Gold Coast for the first time this May, thanks to Openair Cinemas. So, that means it’s time to prepare yourself for a packed line-up that takes full advantage of Star, the newest recruit in the Disney+ family.
While the most important thing to consider when buying tickets to the movies is undoubtedly the line-up, a close second is the food. On that front, the Disney+ Drive-In isn’t like most other cinemas and has recruited DoorDash to deliver the delicious goods right to your car. All you have to do is download the DoorDash app, input your car’s location and then order up big on food, drinks and snacks — then wait for it to magically arrive.

Now more on that line-up. The three-week run will launch on 9th May at the Carrara Sports Precinct Parking with fan favourite, 1o Things I Hate About You. From there, you’ll be laying back in your car while watching 28 Days Later, The Greatest Showman or Cars, and because the Disney+ Drive-In is launching in Autumn, it means packing cosy blankets to fill your car is mandatory.
