If you’re currently in the market for a new SIM-only plan that’ll give you a nice chunk of data at a good price, you might want to turn your attention to Vodafone. They’re currently running some nice discounts across their SIM-only plans until October 13th.

The plans are as follows:

These discounted prices will last for the first 12-months you’re on the plan, but the bonus data on the cheaper two plans will last for the life of your plan.

In terms of savings, the $35 per month Vodafone plan that includes 30GB is a fantastic budget option. You’d usually be paying $40 per month for 10GB data or $45 per month for 30GB, so this discounted plan excels in both price and data.

Bumping up your plan to $45 per month to get an extra 10GB of data – 40GB all up – isn’t a bad idea either. You can also get 60GB for $45 per month, which is double the data you’d usually get for the same price.

As mentioned before, these plans are only available until October 13th, so you’ve got a little bit of time to mull it over. These Vodafone plans don’t have lock-in contracts, so you’re free to give them the boot once those 12-months of discounts expire.

For the sake of comparison, here’s how Vodafone’s plans stack up against Optus and Telstra.

As you can see, these Vodafone plans blow both Optus and Telstra out of the water when it comes to comparative prices and data amounts.

If you really want to stretch out those savings, by pairing any of these Vodafone SIM-only plans with a phone you’ll get the discount for the life of your plan – not just the first 12 months. Here are a few phones you can currently get through Vodafone.
