While it’s only a side profile, the render does offer up some clues as to what we can expect from Huawei’s 2020 flagship.
Specs for the Huawei P40 have already made their way onto Twitter courtesy of leaker Yash Raj Chaudhary, and now a leaked render from GizChina seems to back up the alleged specs to some extent.
The Mate 30 Pro’s OLED Waterfall display is supposedly making a comeback and the image does show a curved screen. There’s a volume rocker and power button – nothing too exciting there – and a fairly pronounced camera bump on the rear.
According to the specs mentioned on Twitter, the handset will feature a Leica Penta Camera, further detailed as a Sony IMX686 1/1.7 inch with OIS, a 20MP ultra wide camera, 12MP (Periscope) telephoto lens, and macro camera and ToF sensor.
Image aside, the phone is rumoured to have a 120Hz refresh rate, dual holepunch camera, and a 5500mAh battery. Obviously, none of this is confirmed, so don’t take it as gospel just yet. [TechRadar]
