Google Can Track Packages In Australia Now

This week Google revealed a new tracking feature that will allow you to easily track your packages via its platform. This is what we know so far.

Google dropped the news on its Webmaster Central Blog, stating how users often come to Search to find package status information.

t will essentially allow shopping companies to feed delivery info into Google so you can easily access and track it through Chrome.

At the moment the functionality is only available through Google’s Early Adopters Program and is open to shipping companies and sole traders only. But the good news is that it’s available in Australia.

In order to be eligible you’ll need a RESTful JSON API and make it available to Google so it can retrieve package information. If you’re interested you can read more here and fill out an interest form.
