Don’t Expect The Big Mouth Spin-Off Anytime Soon

If we weren’t already excited enough about Big Mouth returning with season 3 this weekend, here’s something that will really make you want to worm dance.

The very adult cartoon is getting its own spin-off! But before you bust out the celebratory cotton candy brandy, there’s a small caveat. It ain’t happening anytime soon.

The new show is called Human Resources and will be all about the monster world.

Creator and star Nick Kroll revealed the news as New York Comic-Con this week, and also took to social media to make the announcement.

“Special announcement!!!! We are doing a spin off of Big Mouth. It’s called HUMAN RESOURCES. It’s a workplace comedy set in the world of the monsters. Stay tuned…” he said on Instagram

Viewers copped a sneak peak into the monster world in the season 2 finale, Department of Puberty. We don’t know much about the new show yet, but Kroll provided a small glimpse in his announcement post:

Sadly, we’re going to have to wait awhile for it.

“We’re going to make it after we make Season 5 of Big Mouth,” Kroll said at Comic-Con. “We are incredibly excited to tell a lot of different kinds of stories, not just about puberty, but of all the different stories of life.”

In the meantime, we’ll be mainlining season three over the long weekend in a bhubble baaaaayth. Here’s the trailer.
