JB Hi-Fi has dropped a new SIM-only plan and we’re extremely here for it.

Big Data. Good price. Telstra coverage. Bonus gift card.

Hell yes.

To be fair, JB actually has two new plans. The sexier one is a 50GB plan for $45 per month on a 12-month contract, with a $200 gift card. If you’re after Telstra coverage, this is one of the best bang for buck deals around right now. For comparison, Big T charges $50 for 15GB SIM-only plan, but it is contract free.

You can take a closer look at the deal here:

Your other option is a $65 plan with 60GB with a $300 gift card.

Telstra itself offers 60GB for $60 per month on a no-contract basis, so the JB plan isn’t quite as good, especially given you have to commit to a year. However, you do still win out if you take the gift card into consideration.

Even though you’re paying $5 per month than on Telstra itself, that only takes $60 away from the value of the gift card. Not bad if you want to bag a bunch of two-for-one Blu-Rays.

JB Hi-Fi is powered by the full Telstra network, as opposed to the wholesale network used by Telstra MVNOs, other than Boost). These plans also have the same benefits you’d get with a standard Telstra plan, including Telstra Air access, $10 per day roaming, and data-free Apple Music.

Neither JB plan has any international talk and text, though.

It’s also worth noting that these deals are available for a limited time only and they are only available to customers who don’t already have a service on the Telstra network.
