I don’t know what in the holy shitballs this things is or how it’s supposed to work, but the rumour is it’s Vivo’s next smartphone which will apparently have a screen-to-body ratio of over 100 per cent.
Twitter leaker Ice Universe shared the image of what looks like a really shitty phone case but is in fact – according to him – the screen glass of the upcoming Vivo Nex 3.
As you can see, it’s a piece of wraparound glass that will have “no Hole, no Notch,” and is a “complete screen,” which begs the question as to where the flip all of those camera lenses are going to live.
This is the biggest leak today! This is the screen glass of the vivo NEX 3 (probably the name). It is almost 90° curved, the mirror of glass and glass forms the outline of the phone, it is very symmetrical and perfect. pic.twitter.com/mP5Q1159lA

It has no Hole, no Notch, is a complete screen, and the forehead and chin are also top level.

Vivo shared the same parent company as Oppo, who unveiled its under-display camera technology last month at MWC Shanghai, so that could be a possibility for the front-facing camera, and perhaps we’ll see a pop-up camera on there to deal with the problem of the rear. Who knows.
What’s also unclear is how the hell this wraparound screen will be utilised. Will there be two separate displays? Again, no clue. All we have to go on is this nonsense piece of glass.
